2 cups desiccated coconut
1 tablespoon cocoa or cacao
14 seedless medjool dates
Place ingredients into a food processor and blend together.
Depending on your food processor, you may need to increase the speed or amount of dates you use. Once mixture is blended, place in a slice tin and firmly press the mixture. Place in the fridge or freezer whilst you prepare the filling.
1 cup seedless medjool dates
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 1/4 cup macadamia nuts
Combine ingredients in blender until smooth, firmly press over the base. Place in the fridge or freezer whilst you prepare the topping.
2 cups of dark chocolate
1 1/2 cups sour cream
Melt chocolate and remove from heat. Add in sour cream. Beat with an electric mixture until smooth and creamy. Ice the slice, before the chocolate sets.
Topping Dairy Free and Vegan Free option
1/3 cup maple syrup or honey
2 tablespoons cacao or cocoa
1/2 cup coconut oil
Combined ingredients and place chocolate mix over the top of slice.
Place in the fridge or freezer to set. Once set cut into pieces and store in airtight container in the fridge.
